GEOGRAPHY TEST PAPERS ON DISK 2012 

Subjects Available 

About the Test Papers 

• All papers modelled on current information about the 2012 WACE examinations.

• Both papers include a double-sided broadsheet, with stimulus materials such as topographic maps, photographs, diagrams, and tables.  Broadsheets are provided in hard copy.

• Year 11 papers may be purchased in different combinations:

  • 2A/2B papers – for schools examining the whole year’s work at the end of the year and.

    2B-only papers – for schools examining Semester 2 work only at the end of the year and

  • Linked papers - schools which wish to use one paper now and have the other for a future resource may purchase both papers at a reduced rate.  (NB  Approximately 50% of the material will be common to the 2A/2B paper and the 2B-only paper.)

   

About the Disks

• WATP test papers are available only on disk.  Providing papers on disk allows schools to amend papers, giving added security and a better match to their students’ needs.

• In 2012 each school must nominate and pay for the number of papers it plans to print. No more than this number of papers may be produced from the disk in 2012.

• From 2013 onwards you may use the disk as a site licence without extra charge.  This means that the materials may be reproduced, providing use is limited to the students in your school.

• Marking Guides are provided free of charge for use within the school.

• Copyright for both test papers and marking guides remains with West Australian Test Papers.

• Disks may be copied for back-up purposes only and may not be transmitted to any other school, institution or individual.

• The disks are in IBM format using Word 2010.

Security of Papers 

The security of the test papers is of prime  importance to the many  schools which use  them as an assessment item.  All order forms must therefore be signed by the Head of Learning Area (Society & Environment - Geography) to indicate acceptance of the security and copyright provisions outlined on the form.  Particular note should be taken of the date on which papers may be released to students to take home.

Breaches of the security provisions are extremely rare, but should any such problem come to your attention, you are requested to notify WATP immediately.  You can be assured that action will be taken against any offender, in the interests of all users.

Prices  

Prices, including GST, are as follows:

The $11.00 for Postage and Packing is not charged if a school pays when placing its order.

Tax Invoices/Receipts will be issued monthly to schools which pay with their order.
